Venue Description
Host your next event in the tranquil and elegant ambience of
the Conejo Valley. Fresh and unpretentious, the North Ranch Center is an
appealing special event alternative. It is located just a short drive from
Westlake Village's "downtown" area, at the base of the Santa Monica
foothills. The entire facility has been tastefully redesigned and features
natural stacked stonework throughout. Guests enter through a shady
porte-cochère, and gather in the foyer for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Skylights in the entry cast a soft glow and the hand-forged
iron chandelier, along with a backdrop of stacked stone and soft color tones,
creates a tasteful yet understated elegance.
Adding a touch of the outdoors, the banquet room features
stone towers flanking a fountain with framed transparent fossil leaf art. In
addition, the banquet room hosts a wet bar with a full kitchen behind; the bar
area is finished with warm, dark, rich tones. The stage is set off with a
stacked stone detail, wood-tone flooring and a stunning custom cast-iron
handrail. Doors open onto a sun-filled terrace that runs the length of
the building, affording guests an opportunity to appreciate the warm breezes
and mountain views. Decorative
stone walls completely enclose the patio, ensuring privacy whether the space is
used for mingling, a ceremony or an al fresco cocktail party.
Accommodations
The banquet room at the North Ranch Community Center
can accommodate up to150 guests. Additional spaces and ammenities include a wet
bar in the banquet room, a dry bar in the lobby, a stage area in banquet room,
and a patio off banquet room. The tables and chairs and dance floor are
provided and fully equipped kitchen facilities are available. The renter is
responsible for providing linens, silver, and table décor. The North Ranch Center allows you to personalize your event
with your own choice of caterer. Our professional and competent office staff is available to
assist you in selecting a caterer for your specific
needs.

North Ranch Center is Special Place. We want to thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful center this weekend. We had TONS and tons of compliments on what a nice place it was to have an event. Everything went beautifully. Flexible Setup Added to Success. I wanted to let you know (because there was actually someone who came by to wonder the same thing) that having the "theater style" seating wedding and the "reception" in the same place worked GREAT. We were able to put 13 tables (w/o chairs obviously) to the left side area, complete with linens and flatware and decorations...all ready to pull out after the wedding. It took about 6 people less than 20 minutes to put out the centerpieces and stemware, and round the chairs, while our guests ate appetizers in the foyer/hall. I know that both you and the caterers had doubt as to the effectiveness of this, but it worked great. I think one of your upcoming events wanted to do the same. The gentleman was poking around while we were setting up. I just thought I should tell you that it works. And it worked really well. Exceptional Staff. We weren't able to get the beer kegs out or clear the refrigerator Saturday night, so we met up with your cleaning people (nice gal and her son) early Sunday morning to finish vacating. We had reduced everything to as small an area as we could. She assured me that we didn't inconvenience them too much, and we got out as fast as we could.
