Two weeks ago I married the love of my life at North Ranch Country Club. We had an evening ceremony and reception. I have much to say about the club, but the overall experience was simply magical. The Catering Director and "Day-Of" Planner, Rachel Gluckman was exceptional. Throughout the process, Rachel was enthusiastic, informative, and a real charmer. Even during the more stressful moments of the wedding day, Rachel remained calm, proactive and sweet.
The club location is situated high above a swanky community in Westlake Village. The club's grounds are well maintained, nicely manicured and quite lush. The outdoor ceremony location is fabulous - a massive brick patio, which in one direction, faces the golf course and the mountains. But we wanted a chupah and preferred to face the other direction for the ceremony, where there is a raised brick patio (sort of a stage that in no way looks like a stage) and behind the chupah was a lush, green wall of trees. The reception hall is MASSIVE, but can be beautifully transformed to hold a smaller party or a much larger one than our wedding. We had approximately 105 guests and there was room for another 200. Within the reception hall, there are several tall columns, which can be lit from within to give some zing and color and light - a splendid extra. There is a very large mahogany bar, which was nicely staffed and quickly served our guests whatever they desired.
After visiting multiple locations, I was quite delighted to find the dressing rooms for the bride and groom and the bridal party to be absolutely lovely and quite spacious.North Ranch Country Club is a very special place to be wed. Do your research and whatever homework that entails and then visit this club. You're in for a wonderful time. Susannah G.
