Ventura Weddings

Between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, surrounded by ranches and orchards, rests a hilltop garden with stunning mountain, valley, and coastal views. Approach the site through the Greenwood Daylily Gardens’ demonstration fields…thousands of iris, daylily and canna varieties. Ascend the lush green hills through an orchard of over 2,000 avocado trees. (Watch for the graceful herd of Arabian horses grazing next door. Arrive at a stunning hilltop setting with views east to the Reagan Library and the Santa Susana Pass, north over the foothills to the Topa Topa Mountains, and west past Ventura to the Channel Islands. Enter a garden of delight for all of your senses. Smell the constantly changing California bouquet of sage, citrus, rose, pine and other botanical fragrances. Feel the warm California sunshine tempered by gentle Pacific breezes.Taste the clean country air and build an appetite for the hundreds of gourmet selections prepared by the highly regarded chefs of Command Performance Catering (or have them personalize your occasion by preparing one of your own favorite recipes.) Listen to the singing of over 100 bird species, the humming of bees and the rustling of leaves. Consider complementing the occasion with acoustical music and/or dance to amplified music on our spacious dance floor. (Music must end at 9:00 pm in consideration of neighboring ranches.View the carefully composed plantings that create a distinctive set of gardens.

Rancho de las Flores is available for weddings May through September daily. Weddings take place on Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 am – 9:00 pm; business meetings weekdays 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Only one event per day is scheduled.The grounds of this outdoor country garden facility can accommodate 200 seated or standing; there is a 200-guest maximum. The Gazebo Area and Patio Area combined hold up to 200 seated guests. Several options for catering packages are available.

For weddings, a $2,000 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date; the balance is payable 14 days prior to the event. Rehearsals other than on the wedding day are at an additional cost.

The views at this location are absolutely stunning. I was so happy with the photographs and video of my wedding; they really show off all the beautiful elements that made the location perfect for my garden/chic country wedding theme. I loved celebrating my entire special day in the great outdoors!
